West Quoddy Lighthouse, Maine

The West Quoddy Point Lighthouse in Maine is the easternmost point of the United States.  However, there's a more easterly Quoddy Point across the water in Canada, so this is the West lighthouse.  This is the opening of the Bay of Fundy, which has some of the highest tides in the world.  Visiting here was one of the highlights of my 2019 trip down the East Coast.  This piece is 9" x 12" and is mounted on a piece of 1/2" birch plywood.

Please note that the visible color of the copper greatly depends on the light it is reflecting and will vary between photographs and during the course of the day.
