"Eldorado" fireplace fork

This single poker was forged from a left over piece from a stair railing I created for the Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe, found on the 5th floor.  The handle is 5/8" square, tapering down to 1/2" square, with the fork end forge-welded onto the shaft. The unique fire fork shape will be the most versatile fire poker you've ever used.  The finish is stained and sealed; my usual wax finish would get soft when warmed by the fireplace.
